Obituary of Margaret Mary Holecek

Margaret Mary Holecek,73, of Old Monroe, MO passed away Sunday afternoon, August 13, 2023 at her home. Born October 2, 1949 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of John L. and Margaret L. McCarthy Holley. She was united in marriage on October 29, 1969 in St. Louis to John O. Holecek, Sr. This union was blessed with two children: Bridget and John, Jr. Margaret worked in the accounting department at Church on the Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Holley; one brother, John L. Holley III; and her beloved husband of 38 years, John Holecek, Sr. Survivors include her children: Bridget Williamson and her husband, Steven, of Old Monroe and John Holecek, Jr. of Old Monroe; three grandchildren: Grace, Daniel and Kaitlyn Williamson; and two great-grandchildren: Myla and Olivia Williamson. Margaret also leaves two brothers: Michael Holley and his wife, Karen, of Corinth, MS and Patrick Holley and his wife, Susan, of St. Louis; one sister, Colleen Hupp of Moscow Mills, MO; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Holley of Chicago, IL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
