Obituary of Donald Wade Pounds

Donald Wade Pounds, 63, of Foley, MO passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his home. Born January 24, 1960 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Harold and Hellen Mueller Pounds. Don attended Vatterott Technical School for welding. He was united in marriage on June 12, 1983 in St. Louis to Cynthia Denise Scoggins. This union was blessed with one daughter, Renee. Don worked as a welder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Hellen Pounds; and his son-in-law, Charles Billups. Survivors include his daughter, Renee Billups of St. Charles, MO; two grandchildren: Jaden and Cēniya Billups; and his wife, Cynthia Pounds of Hannibal, MO. Don also leaves one brother, Ronnie Pounds of St. Louis; four sisters: Diana Williams of O’Fallon, MO, Pamela Pounds of O’Fallon, Karen Schultz of Poplar Bluff, MO and Kathy Bense of St. Peters, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
