Obituary of Joanne Marie Bahr

Private Services for Joanne Marie Bahr of Foley, MO will be held at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Joanne, 61, passed away early Sunday morning, June 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, MO. Born November 12, 1961 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of James W. and Jacquelyn D. Birkenbach Homeyer. Joanne worked as a seamstress for Commercial Apparel. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jacquelyn Homeyer; and one brother, Bruce Homeyer. Survivors include her companion of 23 years, James “Jim” Trower of Foley; three sons: Timothy, Mathew and Dusty Bahr of Cahokia, IL; three stepchildren: Samantha, Tabatha and Jacob Trower of Winfield; and nine bonus grandkids. Joanne also leaves one brother, John Homeyer of Illinois; two sisters: Barb Homeyer and Pat Reeder, of Missouri; sisters-in-law: Gwen Nieberuegge of Troy, MO, Lynn Davis and her husband, Chris, of Winfield, and Kathrine Homeyer of Chesterfield, MO; brother-in-law, Ray Trower and his wife, Nona of Troy, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
