Obituary of Connie Lynn Voyles

A Visitation for family and friends of Connie Lynn Voyles of Foley, MO will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Ms. Voyles, 52, passed away Friday morning, June 23, 2023 at her home near Foley. Born August 15, 1970 in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of Charlie Franklin and Sondra Jane (Walters) German. Connie was raised in Somerville, TN and graduated from Fayette-Ware High School. She loved going fishing for bass or catfish. Connie had a 1996 turbo diesel truck she called her baby and enjoyed driving it to the river to check on an eagle’s nest she had been watching over the years. She especially got a lot of joy from visiting and laughing with her family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Charlie F. German. Survivors include her son, Shawn Pierce of Booneville, MS; two daughters: Karissa Anderson of Clinton, KY, and Kelby Voyles of Foley; and two grandchildren: Arabella and Xander Larose. Connie also leaves her mother, Sondra Houston and her husband, Bailey, of Oakland, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
