Obituary of Mary Anne McNamara

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Anne McNamara of Kirkwood, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe, MO. Fr. Richard Rath, church pastor, will officiate with burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Mary Anne, 75, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. Born April 5, 1948 in St. Charles, MO she was the daughter of Henry Fredrick and Rosella Ann Loeffler Dove, Sr. Mary Anne was a 1967 graduate of Wentzville High School. She worked in accounts receivable for Browns Shoe Company for over 40 years and later in the meat department at Schnucks for 18 years. She was blessed with two sons: James Michael, Jr. and John Christopher. Mary Anne was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rosella Dove, Sr; and her brother, Andrew Dove. Survivors include her sons: Mike McNamara and John McNamara, both of Kirkwood, MO; and one granddaughter, Ava McNamara. Mary Anne also leaves her siblings: Henry F. Dove, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Bellflower, MO, Paul Dove of Halfway, MO, Joe Dove of Troy, MO, Nick Dove and his wife, Sharon, of St. Charles, MO, Joan Bennett and her husband, Jim, of Troy, MO, James Dove and his wife, Mary, of Bellflower, Steve Dove and his wife, Pam, of Winfield, MO, Jean Nelson and her husband, Steve, of Foley, MO, and Paula Burkemper and her husband, Charlie, of Old Monroe; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
