Jim, Chris, Kevin and extended family, you have my deepest sympathy. Bev and I were friends for many years, she was a couple years older than me but we hung out together in our younger years. She was always a lot of fun! When her and Jim were married we became part of a extended family for many years. I’m glad I had the chance to visit with her during my short time in Winfield in 2020, she told me then that she was dealing with some serious health complications, I know she was fighting it as much as she could, it saddens me that she didn’t win the fight, but make no mistake she was a Warrior and she will be missed. Rest in peace my dear Bev

It’s hard to believe that my sister is gone. As others have said Bev always had a smile on her face.
Growing up I can remember how mad she got at me when I would pull the heads off of her Barbie dolls and replace them with GI Joe heads.
One time I was riding my bicycle with Bev sitting on the rear fender. All of a sudden the rear tire started skidding. Bev had gotten her foot caught in the wheel spokes. She started to cry, her foot was bleeding and I remember carrying her to the house. I’m pretty sure there were some stitches involved.
I’ll miss Bev. She was a good sister and a good person. I loved her.

Bev was our niece on the Langston side of the family. My wife Aunt Nona was almost a second mother to her. In her early years Nona would care for her whenever it was required. Later, when the twins arrived, Nona and Bev were inseparable. We have great memories of their visits in our homes.
Rest in peace sweet lady.

Beverly always had a smile that reached her eyes, whether it was from my childhood or us kids becoming adults. She was one of those faces you’d see at choir concerts and school events. Bev was easy to talk to and a down to earth person. She was a big part of this community and will be missed by many. But with our memories, you will live on. May you rest in peace Beverly, love you.

Bev was one of the nicest person I’ve ever known. Never said a bad thing about anyone. Fun to be around and work with at school. I don’t think I have ever seen her without a smile on her face. Every time I think about her that’s how i will remember her & that’s a great feeling. She will be missed by so many people. I hope she gets to see my sister in heaven too. R.I.P.Pretty Lady
