Obituary of Rhonda Sue Golden

Funeral Services for Rhonda Sue Golden of Warrenton, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Richard Pillers, pastor of the Elsberry Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Rhonda, 60, passed away Sunday afternoon April 9, 2023, at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born May 24, 1962 in Kennett, MO, she was the daughter of John Wesley Smith, Sr. and Rebecca Sue Wiseman. Rhonda was a 1980 graduate of Duchesne High School. She was a loving homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Rebecca Sue Wiseman Smith, Sr.; two grandsons: John Anthony Dane Golden, Jr. and Elijah Franklin Kai Golden; and her husband, Timothy Lee Golden, Sr. Survivors include her children: Emma Sue Angeline Golden of Elsberry, Timothy Lee Golden, Sr., Kenneth Wayne Eugene Golden and his wife, Crystal, of Rolla, MO, John Anthony Dane Golden of Elsberry and Robert Dennis Quade Golden and his wife, Brandi, of Elsberry; and nineteen grandchildren. Rhonda also leaves one brother, John W. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Lynette, of Eldon, MO; two sisters: Wilma Hammond and her husband, Rick, of St. Charles, MO and Rebecca Quesenberry and her husband, Dale, of Webster Groves, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
