Dorothy Reithemeyer was a very strong woman. I am Vickie Thurman and I was married to her youngest son Rick Reitheyer. We gave Dorothy a grandson, Shane. We lost Rick in 1977. However, Dorothy not only made it through his tragic death but her other 2 children, Kathleen & Ron. To lose all three of your children shows how strong she was & to live to 90 years old God had plans for her. I know being in Heaven now with her family she is smiling with happiness. Thank you Dorothy for being a small part of my life.

Q: How did you meet Dorothy? A: Elvenia is my cousin on my dad’s side. A daughter of my Uncle Ed and Aunt Laura. I remember walking to her and Junior’s house with my mother and sister Sharon when they lived out past our house on Springfield Rd. I always thought of her as a pretty and kind lady. We lost touch as so many do when they left Owensville and I only saw her at a couple of family reunions. My love and sympathy goes out to her family.
