Obituary of Joanne Mary DeClue

A Funeral Mass for Joanne Mary Declue of Foley, MO will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO. Fr. Richard Rath, church pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery at a later date. Joanne, 66, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 7, 2023 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born November 30, 1956 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Herman and Rosemary Vogler Recker. Joanne was a graduate of Normandy High School; and attended Florrisant Valley Community College for early childhood education. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Rosemary Recker; one brother, James Recker; three sisters: Jeanette Baugh, Linda Boniost and Marian Lyons; her son, Djay DeClue; an infant daughter, Jessica DeClue; and her only husband, David DeClue. Survivors include two daughters: Amanda DeClue and her companion Shawn Belville, of Foley and Sarah DeClue and her companion, Francis Hemberger, of Wentzville, MO; and two grandchildren: Cole DeClue and his companion, Lilly Calvin and Ajay DeClue. Joanne also leaves one sister, Patricia Johnson and her husband, Michael, of St. Robert, MO; one brother, Steve Recker and his wife, Mary, of Florissant, MO; her in-laws: Jackie Recker of Bowling Green, MO, Robert Baugh of Lake St. Louis, MO and Patrick Lyons of Tennessee; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
