Obituary of Jeffrey Monroe Reed

Jeffrey Monroe Reed Memorial services for Jeffrey Monroe Reed of Wentzville, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Dr. Danny O'Guinn, pastor of the Parker Road Baptist Church in Florissant, MO will officiate. Mr. Reed, 48, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Born January 9, 1959 in Venice, IL, he was the son of Clarence Larry and Nikki Donjoian Reed. He was united in marriage on February 24, 1995 in St. Charles, MO to Lisa Michelle Woodrow. A residential painter by trade, he was self-employed as Reed's Custom Painting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nikki Reed; and his brother, Guy Reed who was killed in action during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his beloved wife of twelve years, Lisa Reed of Wentzville; one son, Zachary Monroe Reed of Warrenton, MO; one daughter, Madison Donjoian Reed of Warrenton; and one step-son, James Paul Hodge of Wentzville. He also leaves his father-in-law, Paul Woodrow and his wife, Tammy, of Warrenton; his mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Klingert of St. Genevieve, MO; Aunna Marie Schwellenbach of Lake Saint Louis, MO who was considered like a daughter; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. until time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
