Obituary of Sherry Ann Becker

Ms. Sherry Ann Becker, 72, of Wright City, MO passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Washington in Washington, MO. Born July 30, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, MO, she was the daughter of Roy Elmer and Ruby Celeste Lincoln Estes. For many years, Sherry worked as a dispatcher for the Clarksville, MO Police Department. She then worked as a cook for many years at restaurants including Patton’s and Big D’s. Sherry was a lifelong member of Clarksville VFW Post #4610. She enjoyed putting together puzzles, word puzzles, bingo, going to the casino, and most of all she loved to cook. Sherry was a member of Lighthouse Church in O’Fallon, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruby Estes; and one son-in-law, Billy Delozier. Survivors include daughters: Amy Davis and her fiance, Timothy Lott, of Wright City and Misty Delozier of Branson, MO; four grandchildren: Tyler Davis, Brendon Hagemeier, Breanna Hagemeier and Christopher Delozier; and one great-grandson, Easton Hagemeier. Sherry also leaves one brother, Michael Estes and his wife, Donna, of Montgomery City, MO; her grand-dog, Maggie; other relatives and many friends. At Sherry’s request, there are no funeral services scheduled.
