Obituary of Evylene Marie Brand

Funeral Services for Evylene Marie Brand, affectionately known as “Aunt Evie” of St. Louis, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Burial will be in Star Hope Cemetery near Elsberry, MO. Jimmy Pemberton will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Hudnut, Jordan Hudnut, Richard Secrease, Jr., Caleb Secrease and Alex Secrease. Mrs. Brand, 88, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the home of her nephew, Richard Secrease and his wife, Mary. Born September 5, 1934 in Carter County, MO, she was one of 18 children born to Noah Cleveland and Melvina Freer Aubuchon. Evylene was united in marriage on February 27, 1960 at the Southside Baptist Church in South St. Louis, MO to Charles William “Bill” Brand. She was a loving homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Melvina Aubuchon; her seventeen siblings; and her beloved husband of 58 year, Bill Brand, who died on April 19, 2018. Evylene is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Evie dearly. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
