Obituary of Tonuaa Lynn Tayon

Funeral Services for Tonuaa Lynn Tayon of Winfield, MO will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Kris Hagemeier, pastor of Elsberry First Christian Church, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Crain, Dalton Tayon, Riley Tibbs, Perry Odom, Ricky Rackley, Michael Berardino, Ryan Creamer and Jeremiah Hemmer. Tonuaa, 56, passed away Saturday night, November 12, 2022 at her home. Born March 16, 1966 in Troy, MO, she was the daughter of Jane Rhea Tayon. Tonuaa was a 1984 graduate of Winfield High School. She worked as a commercial apparel seamstress for 25 years and later as a sales clerk for Cooke’s Quick Shop. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Tayon; one brother-in-law, Kenny Ebert; and one niece, Nicole Tayon. Survivors include her fiancé, Tim Daly of Winfield; one brother, Duane Tayon of Winfield; two sisters: Nola Ebert of Foley, MO and Robin Tayon of Moscow Mills, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of Funeral Services at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
