Obituary of Amy Elizabeth Baker

Memorial Services for Amy Elizabeth Baker of Winfield, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Pastor Jim Chapman of New Life Church in O’Fallon, MO will officiate. Mrs. Baker, 66, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022 at her home. Born June 29, 1956 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Dan and Dorinda Bruce. Amy was united in marriage on February 7, 1975 in St. Ann, MO to Michael Edward Baker, Sr. This union was blessed with three children: Michael, Jr., Danielle and Caitlin. She worked as the Children’s and Electronics department Managers for Walmart for 20 years; and worked the service desk for 6 years. Amy ran and operated the Children’s Miracle Network out of Walmart. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Bruce. Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Michael Baker, Sr. of Winfield; their children: Michael Baker, Jr. and his fiancé, Heather Roulston, of Troy, Danielle Baker of Troy and Caitlin Leonard and her husband, Brandon, of Winfield; nine grandchildren: Oliver and Henry Baker, Timmy and Blake Callaway, Aidan and Lorelai Baker and Rhett, Ryder and Levi Leonard; and one great-grandson, Wesley Callaway. Amy also leaves her mother, Dorinda Menzel of St. John, MO; six siblings: Dorinda Fisher and her husband, Gary, of St. John, Dan Bruce and his wife, Ann, of Florida, Robert Bruce and his wife, Lisa, of St. Ann, MO, Mark Bruce and his wife, Lori, of Texas, Rick Bruce and his wife, Debra, of St. Charles, MO and Chuck Mack of Moscow Mills, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
