Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Robert Lowery "Bob" Fielder Funeral services for Robert Lowery "Bob" Fielder of Elsberry, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Mr. Howard Van Booven, deacon of Assumption Church in O'Fallon, MO officiated with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers were Dwayne Fielder, Laurie Moore, Josh Moore, Brandon Fielder, Bradley Fielder, Brandi Fielder, Kendra Burbridge, Melodie Burbridge, Jason Lynn, Jason Edelen and Kaydence Lynn. Honorary pallbearers were Gilbert Riffle, Larry Riffle, Mike Riffle, Rob Mills, Larry Baker, Brian Cordsiemon, Brad Cordsiemon, Josh Turner, David Lilley, Bob DeGeare and Ernie Ogden. Mr. Fielder, 65, died Thursday morning, January 4, 2007 at his residence in Elsberry, Missouri. Born September 7, 1941 in Elsberry, MO, he was the son of Orville O. and Leila Belle McAfee Fielder. He was a 1959 graduate of Elsberry High School in Elsberry, MO. He was united in marriage on August 5, 1961 in Elsberry, MO to Diane Marie Emert. He worked for several years as a warehouse worker at Harcourt in Troy, MO, retiring in January 2003. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Fielder; his mother, Leila Belle Riffle; and his step-father, who raised him, John R. Riffle. Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Diane Fielder of Elsberry; one son, Dwayne Fielder of Elsberry; one daughter, Laurie Moore and her husband, Josh, of O'Fallon, MO; five grandchildren: Kendra Burbridge of Troy, MO, Melodie Burbridge and her fianc�, Jason Lynn, of Wentzville, MO, Brandi Fielder of Columbia, MO, Brandon Fielder and Bradley Fielder, both of Elsberry; and one great-grandchild, Kaydence Lynn. He also leaves three brothers: John Michael Riffle of Elsberry, Gilbert Riffle and his wife, Cindy, of Elsberry, and Larry Eugene Riffle of Troy; three sisters: Mary Louise Robinson and her husband, Bob, of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Kathy Diane Morgan of Elsberry, and Carol Mills and her husband, Rob, of Elsberry; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Visitation was held was held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Memorials may be made to the David C.
