Obituary of Carol Faye Leckbee

Ms. Carol Faye Leckbee, 82, of Elsberry, MO passed away early Thursday morning, May 5, 2022, at her home. Born November 30, 1939 in Macon County, MO, she was the daughter of Harold Floyd and Evelyn Gertrude Ford Moore. Carol worked as an assembler for Drug Package, Inc., retiring in 2009. Carol enjoyed cooking and making everyone’s favorite pies at Thanksgiving. She loved to attend all the granddaughters’ events throughout their school years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Evelyn Moore; and two brothers: Harold Ray and Michael Moore. Survivors include her children: David Leckbee and his wife, Tami, and Tammy Murphy and her husband, Rob, all of Elsberry; three grandchildren: Keisha Murphy, Kayla Tiller and her husband, Trent, and Madison Leckbee; and two great-grandsons: Danny and Reid Tiller. Carol also leaves one brother, Donald Moore of Troy, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
