Obituary of Gary Wayne French

Funeral services for Gary Wayne French, Jr. of Winfield, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Pastor Darrell Alley of the Troy First Assembly of God Church will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary French, Sr., Brianna Napoles, Tim French, Jordan "D.J." Napoles, Scott Eiler and Dakota Higby. Gary, 17, died early Sunday morning, May 25, 2014 in a car accident on Highway 47 near Troy, MO. Born September 17, 1996 in Wentzville, MO, he was the son of Gary Wayne French, Sr. and Shayla Faith Napoles Reynolds. Gary was employed by Angle Ridge Remodeling in Troy. He enjoyed fishing (since he was a "young tadpole"), working and remote control cars. Gary was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Sue Skinner in 2008. Survivors include his beloved parents, Gary French, Sr. and Shayla Reynolds of Winfield; his brother, Tim French of Troy, MO and his sister, Brianna Napoles of Winfield. He also leaves his grandparents: Wanda Diamond of Winfield, Donald Napoles of Denton, TX, and Lester Skinner of Foley, MO; his uncle, Shane Napoles and cousins, D.J. Napoles and Haylee Napoles, all of Elko, NV; and many, many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
