Obituary of Theodora Huppert

Funeral Services for Theodora “Teddy” Huppert of Troy, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at First Baptist Church-Winfield in Winfield, MO. Rev. James Dodd of Tennessee and Rev. Fielding Poe, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Dodd, Miles Dodd, James Dodd, Phillip Dodd, Brian Reed and Edward Zhou. Mrs. Huppert, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, MO. Born October 10, 1937 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Leonidas and Laura Smith Ingalls. Teddy was a 1955 graduate of Hazelwood High School. She was untied in marriage on June 20, 1959 in Jennings, MO to Arthur William Huppert. This union was blessed with two children: Carrie Lee and Patrick William. Teddy was a loving homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonidas and Laura Ingalls; and her beloved husband, Arthur Huppert. Survivors include her children: Carrie Dodd and her husband, George, of Winfield and Patrick Huppert and his wife, Elizabeth, of St. Peters, MO. Teddy also leaves six grandchildren: Andrew Dodd, Miles Dodd and his wife, Katie, James Dodd and his wife, Lacey, Phillip Dodd, Ellen Huppert and Katherine Reed and her husband, Brian; and four great-grandchildren: Lucy Dodd, Jane Dodd, Serenity Dodd and Ellie Reed. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at First Baptist Church-Winfield.
