Obituary of Jimmie James Aubuchon

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO for Jimmie James Aubuchon of Old Monroe, MO. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home. J. Larry Carter, of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Kelly, Chris Swafford, Colton Aubuchon, T.J. Capps, Cory Parsons and Gage Parsons. Mr. Aubuchon, 72, passed away Sunday night, September 19, 2021 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born January 5, 1949 in Creve Coeur, MO, he was the son of Clifford Edward and Dorothy Francis Edith Aubuchon. Jimmie was a 1965 graduate of Winfield High School. He was united in marriage on October 16, 1971 in St. Charles, MO to Mary Alice Callaway. This union was blessed with four children: Ryan, Keith, Jennifer and Dominic. Jimmie worked as a concrete truck driver for Schreiter Concrete in O’Fallon, MO, retiring in 2019. Active in his community, Jimmie was a volunteer for the Winfield-Foley Fire Protection District, coached kids’ sports; and was a member of Teamsters Union Local #682 in St. Louis, MO. Jimmie lived a full life, inspiring all that new him, even surviving several times when he shouldn’t have. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Dorothy Aubuchon; two brothers: Richard and Roy Aubuchon; two sisters: Alice Reimers and her husband, Richard, and Christine Dubach and her husband, Roche; one sister-in-law, Patsy Aubuchon; and two brothers-in-law: Wayne Hicks and Bill Jones. Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Mary Aubuchon of Old Monroe; their children: Ryan Aubuchon and his wife, Darlene, of Winfield; Keith Aubuchon of Foley, MO, Jennifer Aubuchon of Old Monroe and Dominic Aubuchon of Winfield; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jimmie also leaves three brothers: Donnie Aubuchon of Winfield, Michael Aubuchon and his wife, Debbie, of Winfield, and Eddie Aubuchon of Winfield; three sisters: Sharon Jones of Winfield, Ethel Hicks of Salem, OR and Marie Cain and her husband, Kevin, of O’Fallon, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
