Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Arthur Richard Ippert, Sr. Funeral services for Arthur Richard "Art" Ippert, Sr. of Foley, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Raymond Hager, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Ippert, Larry Ippert, Amber Ippert, Justin Ippert, Frankie Shinault, Ronnie Shinault and David Shinault. Mr. Ippert, 67, died Saturday evening, November 18, 2006 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO. Born July 23, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, he was one of thirteen children born to Richard and Edna Meyer Ippert. He was united in marriage in Winfield, MO to Ida Jean Morrell. He served his country in the U.S. Army from February 29, 1956 until he was honorably discharged February 28, 1959. He was employed for over 20 years as an exhibit designer for General Exhibition Services (GES) in St. Louis. He was a member of Local #39 Decorators Union in St. Louis. Mr. Ippert owned and operated Your Place Restaurant in Elsberry since 2004. He was a member of New Hope Masonic Lodge #199, AF&AM in Elsberry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edna Ippert. Survivors include his wife, Ida Ippert of Foley; three sons: Rick Ippert and his wife, Chandra, of Orlando, FL, Larry Ippert and his wife, Tracey, of Winfield, and Justin Ippert of Foley; one daughter, Amber Ippert of O'Fallon, MO; three step-sons: Frankie Shinault, Ronnie Shinault and David Shinault, all of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves several brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
