Obituary of Lisa Joean Vaughn

Funeral Services for Lisa Joean Vaughn of Winfield, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Stephen McLane, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church near Elsberry, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Vaughn, Jesse Vaughn, Jordan Haworth, Brett Vaughn, Katie Harper and Eric Nicholson. Ms. Vaughn, 53, passed away Thursday morning, September 2, 2021, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, MO. Born October 17, 1967 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of Larry Wayne and Dorothy Joean Lewis Vaughn. Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Elsberry High School. She attended cosmetology school and the LPN Program. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry “Tinker” Vaughn. Survivors include her children: Luke Norton, and his wife Jackie, of Elsberry and Randi Jo Norton of St. Genevieve, MO; and five grandchildren: Noah and Roman Haven and Zane, Lyla and Elle Norton. Lisa also leaves her mother, Dorothy Vaughn of Elsberry; her sister, Terrie Harper; longtime companion, John Robinson; nieces and nephew; many cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
