Obituary of Martha Carol Emge

A Private Family Celebration of Life for Martha Carol Emge of St Paul, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday July 9, 2021, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Gerald Blessing of the St Paul Catholic Church in St Paul, MO will officiate. Mrs. Emge 66, passed away Sunday evening, June 27, 2021 at her home near St Paul. Born March 24, 1955 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of Carl and Christine Weber Hoeckelmann. She graduated from Fort Zumwalt North High School in 1973. Martha was united in marriage on October 18, 1974 in St. Paul, MO to Harold Dean Emge. To this union three sons were born: Jason, Adam, and Calvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Christine Hoeckelmann; and two brothers: Francis “Butch” and Bernard Hoeckelmann. Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Harold Emge, St Paul, MO; her three sons: Jason Emge, his wife, Tina, and Adam Emge, both of St Paul, MO, and Calvin Emge, and his wife Kacy, of Moscow Mills, MO; and three grandchildren: Caroline, Troy and Marvin. She also leaves three brothers: Paul “Peck” Hoeckelmann, and his wife, Clare, of O’Fallon, MO, Fred Hoeckelmann, and his wife Patty, of Hawk Point, MO, and Joe Hoeckelmann of St Paul; two Sisters: Rose Ann Friese of St Paul, MO, and Mary Wehde, and her husband, Gary, of St Paul; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Public Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
