Obituary of James William Conner

Mr. James William Conner, 62, of Elsberry, MO passed away Thursday morning, June 24, 2021 at Maple Grove Lodge in Louisiana, MO. Born March 20, 1959 Louisiana, he was the son of Francis William and Mary Ellen Siard Conner. James was a graduate of Clopton High School. He was united in marriage on June 22, 1991 in Clarksville, MO to Penny Kathleen Johnson. Their home was blessed with three children: Kyle, Caleb and Casey. James worked as a security guard for Lock & Dam 24 in Clarksville. James was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mary Conner; and two sisters: Velma Lee Daschene and Verna Rose. Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Penny Conner of Elsberry; one daughter, Casey Conner of Mexico, MO; two step-sons: Kyle and Caleb Powers of Elsberry; and three grandchildren: Dylan Powers, Timothy Conner and Adelynn Conner. James also leaves one brother, William Perkins and his wife, Gayle, of Minnesota; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
