Signorello of Elsberry, MO was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO. Fr. Robert Zinser, church pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiated with a burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Bob Signorello, Bill Von Der Ahe, Rob Von Der Ahe, Kevin Brown, Gene Hoffman and Mike Homewood. Mrs. Signorello, 63, died late Wednesday evening, October 18, 2006 after a brief illness at her residence in Elsberry, MO. Born November 12, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of William and Clara Ring Von Der Ahe. She was united in marriage on December 29, 1962 in St. Louis, MO to Salvatore "Sam" Signorello. This union was blessed with two children: Nan and Robert. She was employed for many years at K-Mart in Florissant, MO and was director of the pre-school program at the YMCA in St. Charles County, MO before retiring in 2002 and moving to Elsberry. She was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry and a member of the St. Ann's Society, Eucharistic Minister and a lector for the parish. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Clara Von Der Ahe. Survivors include her beloved husband of 44 years, Sam Signorello of Elsberry; one son, Bob Signorello and his fianc�, Rachel O'dell of Monroe, MI; one daughter, Nan Brown and her husband, Kevin, of Bowling Green, MO; and four grandsons: Nathan, Jacob, Matthew and Corey. She also leaves behind two brothers: Bill Von Der Ahe and his wife, Cathy, of Chicago, IL and Rob Von Der Ahe and his wife, Sheryl, of Oakland, CA; one sister, Deb Cimpl, and her husband, Joe, of Tabor, SD; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO with a rosary service during the visitation. Visitation was also from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Monday, October 23, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry.
