Obituary of Timothy Lee Golden, Sr.

Funeral Services for Timothy Lee Golden, Sr. of Elsberry, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at God’s House of Ministry in Elsberry. Rev. Richard Pillers, pastor of the Elsberry Assembly of God Church, will officiate. A lunch will immediately follow the service. A Celebration of Life bonfire will be held in the evening at Tim’s home. Mr. Golden, 61, passed away Saturday night, May 1, 2021 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born July 28, 1959 in Louisiana, MO, he was the son of Eugene and Velma Childress Golden. Tim was a member of The Lost Cherokee Tribe in Clinton, AR. He worked as an agricultural laborer. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Velma Golden; his step-father who raised him, Victor Wallace; two brothers: Kenneth Eugene Golden and Bob DeGeare; one sister, Nancy Irvin; one nephew, Byron Moyer; and two grandsons: John Anthony Golden, Jr. and Elijah Franklin Kai Golden. Survivors include his children: Emma Golden, Timothy Golden, Jr., Kenneth Golden and his wife, Crystal, John Golden, Sr., and Robert Golden and his wife, Brandi, all of Elsberry; and nineteen grandchildren. Tim also leaves his wife of 32 years, Rhonda Golden of Warrenton, MO; two sisters: Kathlyn Golden of New Hope, MO and Jeannie Alexander of the Elsberry area; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at God’s House of Ministry.
