Obituary of Jane Cecilia Ebert

Visitation for Jane Cecilia Ebert of Old Monroe, MO will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Ebert, 79, passed away Saturday morning, April 10, 2021 at her home. Born December 4, 1941 in St. Louis, she was the daughter of George and Vada Campbell Hansleben. Jane was united in marriage on October 1, 1960 in St. Louis to George Thomas Ebert. This union was blessed with three sons: Thomas George, Kenneth Gary and Richard Anthony. Jane worked as a seamstress for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Vada Hansleben; and her beloved husband of 48 years, George Ebert, who died on March 30, 2009. Survivors include her sons: Thomas Ebert and his wife, Judy, of Old Monroe, Kenneth Ebert and his wife, Nola, of Foley, MO and Richard Ebert and his wife, Robyn of O’Fallon, MO; eight grandchildren: Lindsey Ebert, Kassi Lasher, Zachary Ebert, Ciara Flack, Adam Ebert, Molly Ebert, Hannah Ebert and Joseph Ebert; and six great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Kamren, Jayden, Shannon, Olivia and Archer. Jane also leaves one brother, Gary Hansleben of St. Peters, MO; other relatives and friends.
