Obituary of Myrl Ina Cremeens

Myrl Ina Cremeens Funeral services for Myrl Ina Cremeens of Foley, MO, were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of Winfield Baptist Church, officiated with burial in Asbury Cemetery near Foley, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Jay Tarvid, Rick Miller, David Miller, John Dixon, John Ambrose and Vic Cremeens. Mrs. Cremeens, 85, died early Friday morning, October 20, 2006 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO. Born March 11, 1921 in Reynolds County, Missouri, she was the daughter of Oather and Gertie Pulley Jackson. She was united in marriage in 1938 in Reynolds County, MO to Guy Miller. She was again married August 18, 1953 in Illinois to Roland A. Cremeens. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oather and Gertie Jackson; one sister, Beulah Jackson; two brothers: Tommy Jackson and John Jackson; one step-son, William Cremeens and her beloved husband of 31 years, Roland Cremeens, who died April 24, 1985. Survivors include four sons: Edward Miller and his wife, Lora May, of Centerville, MO, Thomas Miller and his wife, Pam, of Winfield, MO, John Miller and his wife, Janice, of Foley, MO and Steve Cremeens of Foley; two step-sons: Douglas Cremeens and his wife, Sandie, of Florissant, MO and Richard Cremeens and his wife, Evelyn, also of Florissant; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers: Delbert Jackson and his wife, Lois, of Centerville, Paul Jackson and his wife, Edna, also of Centerville and Leroy Jackson and his wife, Louise, of Illinois; two sisters: Eilene Santhuff of Centerville and Imogene Landers and her husband, Cecil, of Salem, MO; one sister-in-law, Louise Jackson of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
