Obituary of Diane Gladys Schulte

Funeral Services for Diane Gladys Schulte of Winfield, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Father Richard Rath, pastor of Immaculate Conception Church near Old Monroe, MO, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Old Monroe, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Emily and Tyler Gordon, Hunter and Lexie Creech, Samantha Schulte, Danielle Schulte and Zach Schulte; honorary pallbearers will be Keith Mueller, Jessica Zumwalt, Bruce Jorcke, Brian Jorcke, Gary Jorcke and Vicki Halbert. Mrs. Schulte, 78, passed away Friday evening, March 12, 2021 at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born March 18, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of George and Ella Kettler Graeff. She was united in marriage on February 4, 1961 in Old Monroe, MO to Leonard Clement Schulte. This union was blessed with three children: Kevin, Kenneth and Cindy. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed Bingo, fishing and bowling. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ella Graeff; one sister, Dorothy Jorcke; and her beloved husband of 48 years, Leonard Schulte, who died November 5, 2009. Survivors include her children: Kevin Schulte and his wife, Brenda, of Old Monroe, Kenneth Schulte of Winfield, and Cindy Creech and her husband, Clay, of Sumner, MO; and five grandchildren, Emily (Tyler) Gordon, Hunter (Lexie) Creech, Samantha Schulte, Danielle Schulte and Zach Schulte; and three great-grandchildren: Clayton Gordon, Cody Gordon and Hadlee Creech. Diane also leaves several in-laws, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
