Funeral Services for Cornelio Diego of Elsberry, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Elsberry Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Rev. Doug Roam, church pastor, will officiate. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry. Cornelio, 57, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at SSM St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born May 16, 1963 in Huehuetenango, San Pedro Soloma, Guatemala, he was the son of Valentin Alonso and Trinidad Diego Nicolas. Cornelio worked as a laborer for Forrest Keeling Nursery. He was a member of the Elsberry Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Dominga Tomas of Elsberry; many relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Elsberry Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
