Obituary of William Proctor Russell

Mr. William Proctor “Bill” Russell, Jr, 69, of Winfield, MO passed away Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021 at his home. Born June 30, 1951 in Poplar Bluff, MO, he was the son of William Proctor and Rose Mae Spradling Russell, Sr. Bill was united in marriage on June 30, 1951 in St. Louis, MO to Virginia Mary Guccione. This union was blessed with two sons: William III and Jeffery. Bill worked as a cable installer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rose Russell, Sr.; one sister, Norma Hayes; four brothers: Bob, Harry, Donald Jo and Richard Russell; one grandson, Jeffery Russell, Jr.; and one son, Jeffery Russell, Sr., who died on January 19, 2021. Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Virginia Russell of Winfield; one son, Billy Russell III and his wife, Heather, of Winfield; and nine grandchildren. Bill also leaves his sister, Donna Kay Powers and her husband, Robert, of Camel, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. There are no services scheduled.
