Obituary of Virginia Mae Hoelting

Memorial Services for Virginia Mae “Ginger” Hoelting of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Fr. Richard Rath, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Mrs. Hoelting, 94, passed away Monday morning, February 1, 2021 at Chesnut Glenn Assisted Living in St. Peters, MO. Born December 15, 1926 in Woodland, CA, she was the daughter of Frank and Burleigh Suddarth Foreman. Ginger was united in marriage on February 5, 1944 in Old Monroe to John Wilson Hoelting. This union was blessed with four children: Wilson David, Toni, Mike and Teri. Ginger drove a school bus for Immaculate Conception Schools. She later worked as a Health Inspector for the City of St. Peters for 30 years, retiring in 1994; also working as a dog catcher for St. Charles County. Ginger loved hunting, especially with a bow. She was a member of Ducks Unlimited. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Burleigh Foreman; two brothers: Glenn and Pert Foreman; one sister, Elizabeth Dufrenne; one son, Wilson David Hoelting; one daughter, Toni Hoelting; one grandson, Kevin Hoelting; one great-grandson, Devin Hoelting. Survivors include one son, Mike Hoelting and his wife, Mary Ann, of Old Monroe; one daughter, Teri Jackson and her husband, Donnie, of Old Monroe; six grandchildren: Stacy VanDyke and her husband, Jerry, of Florida, Corey Hoelting and his wife, Carrie, of Winfield, Abby Hoelting of Old Monroe, Gabe Jackson of Lake Isabella, CA, Kari Jackson of Old Monroe and Kellie Place and her husband, Rich, of Lake St. Louis, MO; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. Ginger also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of Memorial Services at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
