Obituary of Agnes Elaine Briscoe

Graveside Memorial Services for Agnes Elaine Briscoe of St. Charles, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at Star Hope Cemetery near Elsberry, MO. A few words and memories will be shared from Brad, Rhonda and any other family members. The family is grateful for your attendance and sharing of memories. Ms. Briscoe, 84, passed away Tuesday night, September 29, 2020 at SSM DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. Born October 20, 1935 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Richard Charles and Agnes Josephine Sitton Kellogg. Elaine concluded her education at Roosevelt High School. She most recently worked as an executive administrative assistant for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Elaine was a talented artist. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Agnes Kellogg. Survivors include her son, Brad Briscoe and his wife, Rhonda, of St. Charles; her two inherited grandchildren: Kelli Barton and Jesse Barton; and her three inherited great-grandchildren: Kelsey Barton, Lilly Barton and Murphy Zerr. Elaine also leaves many other relatives and friends. The family invites friends and family to join them for lunch and sharing memories from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020 in the lower level of Star Hope Baptist Church. A gallery of Elaine’s images and various items will be available for selection and ownership for friends and family that wish to take home one of Elaine’s paintings.
