Obituary of Jeffery Dale Hahs

Jeff Hahs of Elsberry, MO, formerly of Arnold, MO was born October 24, 1964 and passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the age of 55. He enjoyed peaceful walks along the river or in the woods of a nearby state park or conservation area and spending time with family and friends. Jeff was dedicated to his work with Rexel United for more than 18 years, always trying to exceed expectations. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and LaVetta Hahs. Jeff is survived by his beloved partner, Sherri Henderson of Elsberry; her son, Jess Henderson (Ashley Luster) of Alton, IL; and brother Troy Hahs (Susan Pounds) of Arnold. Jeff also leaves his niece, Clara Hahs; nephew, Thomas Hahs; close family and many, many friends. Those that knew Jeff know he didn’t like to be the center of attention, and would rather give than receive. In lieu of funeral services and to honor Jeff’s memory, we ask that all who wish to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Jeff’s Mom, LaVetta Hahs, in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
