Obituary of Daniel Edward "Boone" Callaway

Visitation for Daniel Edward "Boone" Callaway of Foley, MO will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Mr. Callaway, 75, passed away Sunday evening, September 6, 2020 at his home. Born March 30, 1945 in Springfield, MO, he was the son of Roderick Chesley and Doris Lee Ferber Callaway. Danny worked as an Ironworker and was a member of Ironworkers Union Local #396 in St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roderick and Doris Callaway; one brother, Dale Patrick Callaway; one sister, Marsha Jean Callaway, as an infant; and one grandson, Jesse Pruett. Survivors include his daughter, Doris Pruett of Foley; and one grandson, Daniel T. Callaway of Foley. Danny also leaves six brothers: Roderick “Butch” Callaway of Wentzville, MO, George Callaway of Winfield, Roy Callaway of Foley, Bruce Callaway of Winfield, Mark Callaway of Foley and Carl Callaway of Foley; four sisters: Yvonne McCaw of Troy, MO, Rosina Ruegg of Elsberry, MO, Mary Aubuchon of Old Monroe, and Elsie Hyde of Winfield; his special friend, Judy Callaway of Foley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
