Obituary of Carolyn Ruth Caudle

Funeral Services for Carolyn Ruth Caulde of Troy, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Rev. Kip Lawson, pastor of Element Church in Wentzville, MO, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield. Mrs. Caudle, 79, passed away Wednesday morning, September 2, 2020 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born December 13, 1940 in Bell City, MO, she was the daughter of Arthur E. and Ethel Brown Pope. Carolyn was a 1958 graduate of Oran High School and attended one year at Southeast Missouri State University. Carolyn was united in marriage on December 19, 1959 in Oran, MO to Jesse Cleveland Caudle. This union was blessed with two children: James and Pam. Carolyn worked as a purchasing agent for the City of O’Fallon, MO for over twenty years. She was a longtime member of O’Fallon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Brown Pope; one brother, Gene Pope; and her beloved husband of 60 years, Jesse Caudle, who died February 17, 2020. Survivors include her children: James Caudle and his wife, Stacy, of Troy and Pam Hake and her husband, Jim, of Moscow Mills, MO; six grandchildren: Alybeth, Jayden, Ashley, Lauren, Brian and his wife, Amanda, and Matthew and his fiancé, Kayla; and seven great-grandchildren: Keghan, Conner, Aiden, Kevin James, Caroline, Lucy and Brittany. Carolyn also leaves one brother, Kenneth Pope and his wife, Vivajean, of Oran and Patsy Reddick of Jackson, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
