Obituary of Gary Eugene Lhamon

Funeral Services for Gary Eugene Lhamon of Foley, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes will officiate. Mr. Lhamon, 73, passed away Saturday morning, July 18, 2020 at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born May 4, 1947 in Bloomington, IL, he was the son of Archie Maxwell and Inez Woith Lhamon. He was united in marriage on May 27, 1967 in O’Fallon, MO to Cheryl Lee Siesennop. This union was blessed with four children: Thomas, Michael, Julie and Laura. Gary owned and operated Lhamon Machine, where he worked as a machinist for many years, retiring in 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Inez Lhamon; and four brothers: Don Lhamon, Bill Lhamon, Bob Lhamon and Thomas Lhamon; and one sister, Sandra Lhamon. Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Cheryl Lhamon of Foley; two sons: Thomas Lhamon of O’Fallon, and Michael Lhamon and his wife, Tara, of Wentzville; two daughters: Julie Brown and her husband, Nate, of Winfield, and Laura King and her husband, Ronnie, of Winfield; eight grandchildren: Clay, Ryan, Rachel, Caitlyn, Megan, Abby, Chloe and Hannah; and one great-grandchild, Grayson. Gary also leaves two brothers: Glen Sills and his wife, Carol, of Moscow Mills, and Denis Lhamon and his wife, Terri, of O’Fallon; three sisters: Maxine Lalock of Peoria, IL, Carol Spaeth and her husband, Gary, of Kalamazoo, MI, and Barb Parson and her husband, Larry, of O’Fallon; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
