Obituary of Mary Helen Kelly

Funeral Services for Mary Helen “Toots” Kelly of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Linda Calloway, a family friend, will officiate with burial in Winfield Cemetery in Winfield. Mrs. Kelly, 87, passed away Monday night, July 13, 2020 at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry, MO. Born August 6, 1932 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Roy and Marie Reed Duckett. Toots was united in marriage on September 9, 1950 in Pocahontas, AR to Edward Lee Kelly. This union was blessed with four children: Daniel, Don, Denice and Darlene. Toots was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed yard work, crochet and woodworking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Marie Duckett; one brother, William Duckett; two sisters: Evelyn Hunn and Shirley Duvel; and her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward Kelly, who died April 26, 2007. Survivors include her children: Daniel Kelly and his wife, Blanche, of Troy, MO, Don Kelly and his wife, Carmen, of Winfield, Denice Kelly and her companion, Jimmy Wilburn, of Foley, MO and Darlene Aubuchon and her husband, Ryan, of Winfield; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Toots also leaves one brother, Roy Duckett and his wife, Bonnie, of Montgomery City, MO; two sisters: Louise Blechle of Pevely, MO and Dorothy Birkhead of Troy, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
