Obituary of Cody Scott Hastie

Graveside Services for Cody Scott Hastie of Winfield, MO will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Rev. Andrew Robert Hastie will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Hastie, Jr., Shane Hastie, Brandon Hastie, Kaleb Hastie, Kaden Hastie, Troy Brown, Jr., Tyler Dosing and Tommy Scurlock, Jr. Mr. Hastie, 24, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 the result of a motorcycle accident in Winfield, MO. Born March 21, 1996 in Wentzville, MO, he was the son of Bruce Dean and Kim Maria Brown Hastie, Sr. Cody was a 2014 graduate of Winfield High School. He was self-employed as an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Vernon Earl and Betty Marie Hastie and Edward Arthur and Jane Elizabeth Brown. Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Kim Hastie of Winfield; two brothers: Bruce Dean Hastie, Jr. and his wife, Amanda, of Moscow Mills, MO, and Shane Michael Hastie of Winfield; three nephews: Brandon Lee Hastie, Kaden Michael Hastie and Kaleb Scott Hastie, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon - 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
