Obituary of Penny Marie Connour

A Celebration of Life for Penny Marie Connour of Moscow Mills, MO will be held at a later date. Burial was held in New Salem Cemetery near Winfield, MO. Mrs. Connour, 59, passed away early Sunday morning, April 19, 2020 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born July 9, 1960 in Chrisman, IL, she was the daughter of Robert and Beverly Carpenter Ballard. Penny was united in marriage on January 6, 1983 in Arcola, IL to Jerry Lynn Connour, Sr. Their home was blessed with four children: Byron, Jerry, Jr., Jonathan and Lynn. Penny was a loving homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beverly Ballard. Survivors include her beloved husband of 37 years, Jerry Connour, Sr. of Moscow Mills; her children: Byron Ballard and his wife, Janelle, of Stillwater, OK, Jerry Connour, Jr. of Louisiana, MO, Jonathan Connour of Moscow Mills and Lynn Gryzb and her husband, Jason, also of Moscow Mills; and eight grandchildren. Penny also leaves her brother, Robert “Bob” Ballard, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Whiteland, IN; many other relatives and friends.
