John was a kind, generous , humble man with a great sense of humor. My father, Bill Smith was his Uncle Bill. He was very fond of John and loved him very much, as did his Aunt Betty! We loved visiting his on their beautiful hillside property in Paynesville. We will all miss him very much. May God Bless him and welcome him into Heaven with open arms. May God continue to bless Marcella and all his family, as well. Love, Hal and Meg Smith, Springfield, Il.
