Obituary of Jesse Cleveland Caudle
Funeral Services for Jesse Cleveland Caudle of Troy, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Rev. Kip Lawson, pastor of Element Church in Wentzville, MO, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield.
Mr. Caudle, 79, passed away Monday night, February 17, 2020 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Born July 18, 1940 in Hickory Ridge, AR, he was the son of Jesse Leroy and Rachel Mobley Caudle. Jesse was united in marriage on December 19, 1959 in Oran, MO to Carolyn Ruth Pope. This union was blessed with two children: James and Pam. Jesse worked for General Motors for 44 years, lastly as an EAP rep. He was a member of O’Fallon Baptist Church. Jesse was an avid drag racer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Berkely, MO and attended Wentzville Lodge #46 AF&AM in Wentzville, MO. Jesse also had memberships in United Auto Workers Local #2250 in Wentzville and United Auto Workers #25 in St. Louis, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Rachel Caudle; and one brother, Jimmie, Caudle.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Carolyn Caudle of Troy, MO; their children: James Caudle and his wife, Stacy, of Troy, and Pam Hake and her husband, Jim, of Moscow Mills, MO; six grandchildren: Alybeth, Jayden, Ashley, Lauren, Brian and his wife, Amanda, and Matthew and his fiance, Kayla; and seven great-grandchildren: Keghan, Conner, Aiden, Kevin James, Caroline, Lucy and Brittany. Jesse also leaves one brother, John Ruben “Bud” Caudle and his wife, Barbara, of Oran, MO; his sister-in-law, Arlene Caudle of O’Fallon; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
