Obituary of Diane Michelle Tayon

Memorial Services for Diane Michelle Tayon of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at New Salem Baptist Church near Winfield. Rev. Roger Alford, will officiate. Mrs. Tayon, 64, passed away Monday evening, February 17, 2020 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born April 5, 1955 in Fort Belvore, VA, she was the daughter of Francis Melvin and Louise Mae Crenshaw Jurgens. Diane earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation from Southwest Missouri State University in 1977. She was united in marriage on April 4, 1981 in St. Charles, MO to Ronald Ray Tayon. This union was blessed with two children: Cathy and Eric. She worked as a receptionist for Boardwalk Family Dental in Winghaven, MO. Diane was a member of Ducks Unlimited and an avid Cardinals fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Louise Jurgens; her brother-in-law, Danny Roberts; and her beloved husband of 29 years, Ron Tayon, who died August 4, 2010. Survivors include her children: Cathy Holloway and her husband, Daniel, of Winfield and Eric Tayon and his fiance, Leanna Bluhm, also of Winfield; and three grandchildren: Sara, Evan and Jackson. Diane also leaves her siblings: Kenneth Jurgens and his wife, Bridget, of Columbus, OH, Patrick Jurgens and his wife, Brenda, of Archie, MO, Jerome Jurgens and his wife, Rhonda, of Rolla, MO, Charlene Roberts of Columbia, MO and David Jurgens and his wife, Elizabeth, of Chesapeake, VA; her sister-in-law, Connie Tayon-Lomax of Winfield; her brother-in-law, Curtis Edward Tayon of Winfield; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
