Carter Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Gloria Elaine Allen Graveside services for Gloria Elaine Allen of Wentzville, MO, were held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home officiated the burial. Mrs. Allen, 68, died Sunday evening, August 13, 2006 at Parklane Care and Rehab Center in Wentzville, MO. Born May 19, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Elmer L. and Lamoine Davis Bunch. She was a 1956 graduate of Maplewood High School in St. Louis, MO. She was united in marriage on March 31, 1956 in Hernando, MS to Roy Walter Allen, Sr. This union was blessed with three children: Kim, Roy W. Allen, Jr. and Michelle. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lamoine Bunch; one brother, Charles Bunch; and her beloved husband of 41 years, Roy Walter Allen, Sr. Survivors include one son, Roy W. Allen, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Augusta, MO; two daughters: Kim McClintock and her husband, Joe, of O'Fallon, MO and Michelle Groeblinghoff and her husband, Dave, of O'Fallon; and five grandchildren: Douglas Peters, James Allen, John Allen, Angela Tucker, Kyle Tucker and Michelle McClintock. She also leaves one sister, Marilyn Vogel and her husband, Art, of Imperial, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, several other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO.
