Obituary of Elizabeth Brawley Rutledge
Funeral Services for Elizabeth “Beth” Brawley Rutledge of Foley, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Matt Armstrong, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God Church will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Pallbearers will be Andy Brawley, Joshua Jordan, Tony Ferguson, Matthew Jordan, Tyler Jordan, Shane Canoy and Jeffrey Penrod.
Beth, 32, passed away Wednesday evening, December 25, 2019 in a one vehicle accident on Highway H near Silex, MO. Born June 6, 1987 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of David Wayne and Karen Marie Thompson Brawley. She graduated from Winfield High School in 2005. and earned her Medical Assistant Certification at Midwest Institute. She was employed as a CNA transporter at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville, MO. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Winfield.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Ellen Jane Brawley and Sampson Vernell Brawley; her maternal grandparents: Ronald LaVerne Thompson and Ella Jo Thompson; and three uncles: Neal Brawley, Ronald Thompson and Edward Thompson.
Survivors include her parents, David and Karen Brawley of Foley; her sister, April Jordan and her husband, Joshua, of Elsberry, MO; and her brother, Andy Brawley and his wife, Kimberly, of Foley. She also leaves seven nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Aunt Puppy”: Cydney, Tyler and Matthew Jordan, and Kylie, Connor, Jaxon and Benjamin Brawley; her special friends, Tony and Jennifer Ferguson of Wellsville; several other relatives and many friends.
