Obituary of Lynn George Hagemeier
Funeral Services for Lynn George Hagemeier of Elsberry, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the Elsberry First Christian Church. Lynn’s children will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Nicholson, Ryan Toler, Scott Land, Mike Mudd, Josiah Hagemeier, Joel Hagemeier, Brogan Hagemeier and Brennan Hagemeier.
Mr. Hagemeier, 81, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Life Care Center of Longmont in Longmont, CO. Born November 19, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Fred and Esther Queathems Hagemeier. Lynn was a graduate of Elsberry High School. He was united in marriage on August 28, 1965 at the First Christian Church in Elsberry to Linda Gayle Hausgen. This union was blessed with three children: Kim, Kevin and Kris. Lynn was a self-employed contractor. He was a longtime member of the Elsberry First Christian Church.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Esther Hagemeier; three brothers: Marvin, Lester and Carl Hagemeier; one grandson, Jeremiah Hagemeier; and his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda Hagemeier, who died on January 26, 2019.
Survivors include his children: Kim Land and her husband, Jim, of Berthoud, CO, Kevin Hagemeier and his wife, Kathleen, of Indianapolis, IN and Kris Hagemeier of Wentzville, MO; and eight grandchildren. Lynn also leaves two brothers: Norvel Hagemeier and his wife, Roberta, of Elsberry and Glenn Hagemeier and his wife, Rosemary, of Elsberry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Memorials may be made to the “Feed Em, Teach Em, Love Em” Progam (or) the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
