Obituary of Caroline Elizabeth Burkemper

A Funeral Mass for Caroline Elizabeth Burkemper of Moscow Mills, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe, MO.  Father Richard Rath, church pastor will officiate.  Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Miller, Tony Miller, Sam Crowder, Ben Crowder, Dane Burkemper and Bo Henry.  Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Miller, Tony Miller, Sam Crowder, Ben Crowder, Dane Burkemper and Bo Henry.

           
Caroline, 21, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 in Louisiana, MO.  Born October 21, 1997 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of Leon Gerard and Sallyann Desiree Schlueter Burkemper.  Caroline was a 2016 graduate of Troy Buchanan High School.  She worked as a CNA for area nursing homes.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

           
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Albert Schlueter; and her step-grandfather, Ed Rabbitt, Sr.

           
Survivors include her parents, Leon and Sallyann Burkemper of Moscow Mills; her brother, Curtis Henry Burkemper of Moscow Mills; and her sister, Caitlyn Emily Burkemper of St. Louis, MO.  Caroline also leaves her paternal grandparents: Paul and Margie Burkemper of Old Monroe and Carol Rabbitt of Wentzville, MO; maternal grandmother, Catherine Blake Schlueter; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

           
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield; and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels (or) Central Missouri Honor Flight in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home , 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
