Obituary of Lonnie Elmer Brawley, Jr.

Memorial Services for Lonnie Elmer Brawley, Jr. of Troy, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO.  Paul Hunt will officiate.

           
Mr. Brawley, 56, passed away Monday afternoon, March 11, 2019 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO.  Born February 20, 1963 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Lonnie Elmer and Joyce Mae Melton Brawley, Sr.  Lonnie worked as a concrete laborer for many years and was a member of the Laborer’ Union Local #660 in St. Charles.

           
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Joyce Brawley, Sr.; his son, Kenneth Ray Brawley; one sister, Lonna Sadler; and one granddaughter, Kaileigh Sutherland.

           
Survivors include his daughter, Kristi Richards and her husband, Ray, of Troy; and seven grandchildren: Jorden and McKenzie Brawley, Wendi and Hope Sutherland, Raymond Richards, Jr., Austin Schneider and Haley Wilson.  Lonnie also leaves two brothers: Ronnie Brawley and his wife, Paula, of Wentzville, MO and Jodie Brawley and his wife, Stacey, of Silex, MO; two sisters: Ronna Lagemann and her husband, Gary, of Troy and Bonnie Pyle and her husband, John, also of Troy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

           
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.  Memorials may be made to the Family of Lonnie Brawley, Jr. in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home , 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
