Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Mildred Dillon Funeral services for Mildred Katherine Dillon of Winfield, MO, were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July12, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Ronald J. Rubbelke, Associate Pastor of the Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon, MO, officiated with burial in New Salem Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers were Randy Hawkes, Scott Neisinger, Brian Dillon, Russell Dillon, Jr., Joe Dillon and Edward Dillon. Mrs. Dillon, 65, died Saturday evening, July 8, 2006 at Barnes St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, MO. Born April 28, 1941 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Leo and Prudence Spratley Moore. She was united in marriage on February 19, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri to Russell Benjamin Dillon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Prudence Moore; and one brother, Leo Moore, Jr. Survivors include her beloved husband of 48 years, Russell B. Dillon, Sr.; two sons: Russell B. Dillon, Jr. and his wife, Shara, and Brian Steven Dillon, all of Winfield; one daughter, Louise Wohlbold and her husband, Jeffrey, also of Winfield; five grandchildren; several other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
