Obituary of Cora Elaine Hines

Memorial Services for Cora Elaine “Moose” Hines of Winfield, MO will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Winfield First Baptist Church in Winfield.  Rev. John Birkhead, of Bowling Green, MO, will officiate.

           
Ms. Hines, 70, passed away Monday afternoon, December 10, 2018 at St. Peters Manor in St. Peters, MO.  Born October 3, 1948 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of Alva Leo and Dorothy Birkhead Hines.  Cora was a 1966 graduate of Winfield High School.  She began working for MEMC, a Monsanto company, on June 15, 1969 as a Trabajador; retiring in 2013.  Cora enjoyed participating in retiree dinners and playing cards.  She loved spending time with her niece, nephew, great-niece and nephew, and great, great-niece and nephew.

           
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Dorothy Hines; and one brother, John Richard Hines.

           
Survivors include two brothers: Robert Leo “Rosco” Hines and his wife, JoAnn, of Winfield, and Dennis Hines of Moscow Mills, MO; one sister, Carol Martin and her husband, Paul, of Winfield; her godson, Steven McCullough; other relatives and friends.

           
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Services at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Winfield First Baptist Church.  Memorials may be made to The Family of Cora Hines in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home , 3838 East Highway 47, P.O. Box 253, Winfield, MO 63389.
