Obituary of Nancy Jean Wiegert

Nancy Jean Wiegert, 71, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 30, 2018 at her home near Winfield.  Born March 10, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Wendell “Babe” and Lillian E. Weber Johnson.  Nancy was a 1965 graduate of Normandy High School.  She was united in marriage on March 28, 1980 in St. Charles, MO to Joseph Francis Wiegert.  Their home was blessed with four children: Scott, Joseph, Dawn and Debbie.  Nancy was a loving housewife.

           
She was preceded in death by her parents, Babe and Lillian Johnson.

           
Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, Joe Wiegert of Winfield; four children: Scott Pratt of Licking, MO, Joseph Pratt and his wife, Maggie, of Troy, MO, Dawn McMenamy and her husband, Mike, of Old Monroe, MO and Debbie Pratt and her companion, Matt Summers, of Winfield; and nine grandchildren: Summer Pratt, Cole McMenamy, Camber McMenamy, Carter Pratt, Colton Summers, Taylor Timmermen, Crystal Bess, Chance Bess and Corey Shelton.  Nancy also leaves her sister, Donna Hurley and her husband, Dave, of St. Paul, MO; other relatives and friends.

            Memorial Services for Nancy Jean Wiegert of Winfield, MO will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Calvary Chapel - Troy; 28 Snyder Road; Troy, MO 63379.  Memorials may be made to the Family or to the American Cancer Society in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
